Ajay Gaur, a sub-inspector stationed in Basti, Uttar Pradesh, was reported missing after leaving his home in uniform on February 5. His body was discovered in the Saryu River at the border of Ayodhya and Basti on February 8, raising suspicions about the circumstances of his death.
