Kullamäe club finished the Eurocup group stage on a positive note
Kullamäe's club Lietkabelis won their last Eurocup game against London Lions, finishing the group stage with five wins.
The Kullamäe club, Panevežyse Lietkabelis, concluded their Eurocup group stage on a high note by defeating London Lions 66-58 in their final match. Estonia's basketball player Kristian Kullamäe played a significant role in the victory, showcasing his shooting skills by making five of seven three-point attempts, contributing a total of 18 points to the game along with three rebounds and three assists.
The match illustrated Lietkabelis' competitive spirit as they navigated through tough group stage matches, ultimately finishing with a record of five wins out of 18 games, placing them ninth in Group B. While the team's performance ensured they were unable to advance past the group stage, it highlighted individual talents like Kullamäe and other players, such as Jamel Morris, who led the team in scoring with 20 points.
The outcome of the group stage sets the stage for Lietkabelis to reassess their strategies moving forward in the league. The success against the Lions might provide a morale boost for the players as they aim to improve in domestic competitions and future international outings, while the stronger teams like Besiktas and Hapoel Jerusalem advance to the quarter-finals from their respective groups.
