Around 300,000 residents in Odesa, Ukraine, are without water due to power outages caused by Russian drone attacks.
Russian drone attacks have resulted in approximately 300,000 residents in Odesa, Ukraine, lacking access to running water, as reported by Oleksij Kuleba on Telegram. These attacks have disrupted the city's water supply due to power outages. Efforts to restore water systems are currently underway, as local authorities work to resolve the situation.
In addition to the water crisis, nearly 200 homes in the area are without heating, compounding the challenges faced by the residents during these harsh conditions. This highlights the ongoing infrastructural vulnerabilities within Ukraine, especially as winter approaches and temperatures drop.
In Kyiv, the situation is also dire, with about 2,600 homes reported to be without electricity following the latest night attacks. Ukrainian authorities have stated that the country was targeted with 24 ballistic missiles and 219 drones during the recent assault, emphasizing the scale and intensity of the ongoing conflict with Russia.
