Carla Cottini, a Brazilian soprano residing in Berlin since 2019, has announced her return to São Paulo for performances at the end of the year. Following a successful short season at the B32 theater where she performed two comedic intermezzos, "La Serva Padrona" and "La Contadina," she is bringing her artistic talents back to Brazil after a notable international stint. These January performances marked the debut of the Brazilian Chamber Opera Company in a venue that had never hosted operas before, showcasing a significant cultural milestone.

On November 24, Cottini will perform alongside clarinetist Bruno Ghirardi and pianist Ricardo Ballestero at Estação Motiva Cultural within Sala São Paulo. This concert will feature a chamber music repertoire that highlights the musical connections between Brazil and Germany, underlining Cottini's commitment to fusion in her music. The trio will also perform a similar program on December 6 at Theatro São Pedro as part of the intimate concert series "Além do Palco," furthering the cultural exchange through their performances.
