Rosalía releases the music video for 'Sauvignon Blanc' set in the desert

Rosalía has released the music video for 'Sauvignon Blanc', a visual piece centered around a metaphor of emotional and spiritual intimacy.

On February 11, Rosalía unveiled the music video for her song 'Sauvignon Blanc', marking the third audiovisual release from her latest era, Lux. Set in a desert landscape, the video features the Catalan singer accompanied by an 'invisible partner', a visual metaphor conveying the song's theme of relinquishing material possessions for deeper emotional connections.

The artist herself elaborated on this concept, stating that it reflects the importance of emotional and spiritual intimacy, which is central to the project. The video's direction was handled by Noah Dillon, who also contributed to the album cover for Lux, from which 'Sauvignon Blanc' is a part. Prior to this release, two other music videos for the songs 'Berghain' and 'La perla' have already been released under the same album era.

In conjunction with the video launch, Rosalía also introduced an independent single on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, featuring both an instrumental and an a cappella version of 'Sauvignon Blanc'. This multifaceted release strategy showcases Rosalía's innovative approach to music production and visual storytelling.
