New video shows driver's view during collision between Tesla Cybertruck and motorcyclist who died in SP

A new video has emerged showing the perspective of the Tesla Cybertruck driver during a fatal collision with a motorcyclist in São Paulo.

A new video depicting the view from the Tesla Cybertruck driver during a collision with a motorcycle has been released, revealing crucial details about the incident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, the 11th, in the southern region of São Paulo. The motorcyclist, who was delivering food, tragically died as a result of the crash. The video shows Igor Costa Alves, a 36-year-old dentist and influencer, driving through a green traffic light on Avenida Nove de Julho, when he hit the motorcycle amidst heavy rainfall.

As per the footage, the motorcycle rider was hit directly by the Tesla, leading to the rider being thrown off and the delivery bag being launched from the bike. Following the impact, the video captures Alves, the driver, heading towards the injured motorcyclist along with another individual who appears to be another motorcyclist assisting at the scene. The Secretary of Public Security confirmed that the traffic light was indeed green for the driver of the Tesla at the time of the incident, raising questions as to whether the motorcyclist might have been at fault for the collision.

The motorcycle was dragged approximately 10 meters from the point of impact. Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the accident, especially whether any actions by the motorcyclist could have led to the collision. This incident has drawn attention to road safety and the implications of accidents involving increasingly prevalent electric vehicles like the Tesla Cybertruck.
