They are scheduled to face the United States in their opening round-robin match on January 12. This comes after the historical success of 'Team Kim', which won a silver medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics but fell short in Beijing 2022. The current team, nicknamed '5G' after their unique roster names and Kims ('GIM'), aims to continue South Korea's curling legacy.
