One killed, six injured in Russian attacks on Kharkiv Oblast
Russian attacks on Kharkiv Oblast resulted in one death and six injuries on February 11, with multiple incidents reported in the area.
On February 11, Russian military actions in Kharkiv Oblast led to the tragic death of one individual and left six others injured. The attacks notably included a drone strike believed to be carried out by a Lancet drone, which struck a medical vehicle near the village of Borshchivka, killing a 63-year-old woman and injuring the five people inside, comprised of medical personnel and patients, who experienced acute psychological stress due to the incident.
In addition to the drone strike, Russian forces conducted an air strike targeting the village of Nova Kozacha, resulting in damage to residential buildings. The assaults did not stop there; an earlier strike involving an FPV drone hit the village of Zolochiv around 16:20, causing acute stress reactions in two adolescent boys aged 14 and 15. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries in a separate incident where a drone hit a bus in Ruska Lozova.
This series of attacks highlights the ongoing instability and danger present in Kharkiv Oblast as Russian strikes continue to affect civilian areas and infrastructure. The psychological impact on the local population, particularly among children and individuals in sensitive occupations such as healthcare, cannot be underestimated, as these attacks disrupt daily life and contribute to a climate of fear and insecurity in the region.
