Love with a 'rich' man on Insta, a mother of three ran away 1400 KM... shocked by the reality of her lover
A woman from Dumka, Jharkhand, left her husband and three children to live with an Instagram lover in Andhra Pradesh, but was returned home by police after discovering her lover was not who he claimed to be.
A disturbing case has emerged from Dumka, Jharkhand, where a woman deserted her husband and three children to start a new life with a man she met on Instagram. After traveling 1400 kilometers to Andhra Pradesh, she was located and brought back home by the police approximately one month later. The woman's husband had filed a missing person report on January 12, expressing concerns over her prolonged communication with a man on social media, which often led to conflicts between the couple.
The police initiated an investigation using technical surveillance and traced the woman to Machilipatnam in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. A police team was deployed to recover her after determining her location. According to law enforcement, the woman was drawn to the promise of a wealthy lifestyle, believing her Instagram lover was from a rich family, and she aspired to build a new home with him, fostering an illusion that ultimately led her to abandon her family and children.
Upon arriving in Machilipatnam, the reality shattered her illusion. Rather than the affluent lifestyle she envisioned, she discovered that her lover was actually a daily wage laborer living in a straw hut. This experience served as a sobering reminder of the potential dangers of online relationships and the importance of being cautious about whom to trust on social media platforms, especially when making life-changing decisions such as leaving one's family behind.
