For the first time in Germany: The exhibition "Balloon Worlds": Quite inflated – a world tour with balloons

The "Balloon Worlds" exhibition in Munich features creations made from over 500,000 balloons by 19 international artists, running from February 14 to April 12.

The "Balloon Worlds" exhibition launched in Neuhausen-Nymphenburg invites visitors into a whimsical experience created from more than 500,000 balloons, crafted by 19 international artists. The exhibition is set in the Pineapple Park venue, where attendees enter through a tunnel decorated with numerous balloons illuminated in red and violet, resembling a galaxy. At the end of the tunnel, a globe slowly rotates, offering views into different themed areas crafted from balloons.

Spread across 3,500 square meters, the exhibition showcases sculptures inspired by cultural landmarks, exotic animals, and symbols from all five continents, making it an enriching experience for participants of all ages. It not only showcases artistic creativity but also encourages interaction, allowing visitors to engage with the installations. The exhibit will be open for a limited time, from February 14 to April 12, opening the door for both educational and recreational exploration of art and culture through balloons.

Dutch balloon artist Guido Verhoef, who conceptualized the exhibition, reflects on the memories evoked by such an imaginative medium, challenging visitors to consider the transient nature of creativity and the connections formed through these playful structures. As the exhibit progresses, it aims to leave lasting impressions on the attendees, making it a highlight in Germany's cultural landscape this spring.
