Raving into Valentine's Day: Music love without pickup lines
A techno rave event themed 'Amore di Core' is set to take place from Friday evening to Saturday morning, featuring various electronic music styles and a community-driven lineup.
The event 'Amore di Core' is scheduled to celebrate Valentine's Day with a continuous techno rave from Friday evening until Saturday morning, featuring genres such as Schranz, Frenchcore, and Trance. The organizers, Nachtchatten and Morph, have engaged their community through social media to decide the musical programming for the two stages at the Import Export venue. The larger stage will emphasize 'Harder Styles,' rebranded for the occasion as the 'Harder Love Stage' alongside the diverse 'Trance and Dance' stage for fans of melodic trance.
Encouraging community interaction is a vital aspect for the organizers, who recognized a disproportionate representation of male DJs at the event. In response, they offered two DJ slots through a contest on Instagram specifically aimed at FLINTA individuals (women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender, and agender people), promoting inclusivity within the lineup. This initiative not only fosters a more diverse musical atmosphere but also invites attendees to engage in conversation and connection over shared music interests.
The rave aims to create a vibrant environment where music and love intertwine, resonating with the Valentine's theme while eschewing typical romantic clichés. Through a carefully curated experience that emphasizes community input and diverse music styles, the event highlights the importance of inclusivity and connection among attendees in the electronic music scene, setting a positive tone for celebrating love in all forms.
