Armed man opens fire in school and takes students hostage; police arrest him

A man armed with a gun took hostages at a school in Thailand but was arrested by police and all hostages were reported safe.

The assailant reportedly entered Patong Prathan Kiriwat School in Hat Yai around 4:45 PM local time, firing two or three rounds before holding hostages in the school premises.
