Two young basketball talents have been selected to take part in the prestigious "Basketball Without Borders" camp, featuring 40 athletes from around the globe.
I. Štombergas and M. Brnovičius have been chosen to participate in the elite "Basketball Without Borders" camp, which includes 40 of the top young basketball players from 29 countries worldwide. During the camp, the players will undergo physical conditioning tests, skill development training, and various matches, while also attending life skills seminars. NBA representatives will be present, and the young players will have the opportunity to learn from former basketball stars such as Danilo Gallinari and James Gist. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will also get the chance to attend the NBA All-Star Game.
Upon receiving the invitation, I. Štombergas expressed his excitement and gratitude, stating that it is a significant honor to compete with some of the most talented peers in the sport. With his 18th birthday approaching on February 21, he realizes the responsibility that comes with this opportunity and aims to prove his worth. Meanwhile, the Montenegro native also shared his emotions about being selected, highlighting the significance of this experience for his basketball journey.
