In Dumka, the bodies of a woman estimated to be around 35 years old and a young girl approximately 5 years old were discovered near the old inspector's office within the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station. SDPO Bijay Kumar Mahato stated that while the identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed, it is believed they were mother and daughter. The investigation has begun, but no arrests have been made as authorities work to determine the cause of death.
