Sixteen teams participated in the competition, including not only teams from Deoria but also from nearby districts and one team from Bihar, showcasing significant local interest in cricket. The winning team from Patardeva received a cash prize of 10,000 rupees, while the runners-up were awarded 5,000 rupees, showcasing the growing enthusiasm for the sport in the area.
