PiS thunders regarding the Russian woman close to Czarzasty. New findings

The Polish Parliament has addressed questions regarding Włodzimierz Czarzasty's business relations with Svetlana Chazhenykh, clarifying their professional background while denying any personal connections between them.

The Polish parliamentary office has responded to inquiries concerning the business ties between Włodzimierz Czarzasty, the leader of the Left party, and Russian national Svetlana Chazhenykh. Czarzasty is reportedly a publisher by profession and met Chazhenykh through her work as a co-author of books published by Muza S.A., which focus on the history of Białowieża and Spała. In 2020, she allegedly acquired shares in a hotel where Muza S.A. is a co-partner.

The Sejm Chancellery emphasized that the transaction was transparent and documented in land registers, asserting that Czarzasty and Chazhenykh do not maintain any social contacts. The matter involves the PDK Hotele company, which runs the Mościcki Hotel in Spała. According to KRS records, Chazhenykh only purchased her shares in the company on November 30, 2023. Prior to this, the company was known as PDK S.A., but the newspaper "Rzeczpospolita" found no recorded shares belonging to the Russian national holding a Polish passport.

Additionally, it was noted that Chazhenykh works for the Russian Auction House in St. Petersburg, which adds another layer of complexity to the narrative surrounding Czarzasty's associations. This situation raises questions about the nature of foreign connections and the implications they hold for Polish politics, particularly within a context of heightened scrutiny regarding Russian influence in the region.
