The court dismissed the bullying lawsuit against the head of the safety administration of the Ministry of Labor
The Jerusalem Labor Court has dismissed a bullying lawsuit filed by a former senior official against the head of the Labor Ministry's safety administration.
The Jerusalem Labor Court ruled against a bullying and harassment claim by Arik Shmilovitz, a former senior official in the Labor Ministry's safety administration, against its head, Hazi Schwartzman. In the 2023 lawsuit, Shmilovitz accused Schwartzman of manipulating data regarding workplace fatalities and alleged that he faced retaliation for raising concerns about improper management practices. Despite presenting testimonies from key witnesses indicating a 'negative climate' and a tense relationship between them, the court determined that Shmilovitz had significantly contributed to the discord between the two.
