'We have some doubts...' Rohit Pawar presented in Delhi on Ajit Pawar's death
Rohit Pawar has expressed doubts regarding the circumstances of his uncle Ajit Pawar's plane crash and presented his concerns at a press conference in Delhi.
In the wake of the plane crash that claimed the life of Ajit Pawar, his nephew Rohit Pawar has raised serious questions about the incident. At a press conference held at the Delhi Press Club, Rohit highlighted his suspicions surrounding the crash, stating that multiple factors are being raised regarding the mishap. He emphasized that they have prepared a presentation concerning the details of the crash incident, signaling their intent to seek clarity amid widespread speculation.
At a prior press conference in Mumbai, Rohit specifically targeted the owner of the aircraft, VSR, questioning the maintenance practices of the plane. He demanded to know whether routine maintenance had been performed and why crucial documents, such as the tech log and airworthiness report, had not been made public. Furthermore, he raised allegations regarding the transponder being deliberately turned off before the crash, suggesting a lack of transparency in the investigations and potential pressure on the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to suppress information related to an earlier 2023 incident involving a different VSR aircraft.
Rohit also shed light on the timing of Ajit Pawar's flight, noting that initially, Ajit was supposed to travel by road to Baramati, and it was unclear why the last-minute switch to air travel was made. His claims reflect a larger concern about aviation safety standards and the necessity for a thorough and transparent investigation into the crash. This statement has fueled discussions about accountability in aviation safety, particularly in India, where such incidents can raise alarm over regulatory practices.
