Norstat Ratings: The Rise of the Reform Party Has Stopped

Recent polling shows that support for the Reform Party in Estonia has stalled after earlier increases, with current support levels being lower than the previous week.

According to the latest Norstat poll conducted by the Public Opinion Research Institute, there have been no significant changes in the support percentages for political parties in Estonia over the past week. The Reform Party, which had been experiencing an upward trend since the beginning of the year, has seen this increase come to a halt. Current support figures show the Isamaa party at 26.6%, the Centre Party at 20.6%, and the Reform Party at 14.7% among eligible voters.

The slight decline in support for the Reform Party, compared to last week, suggests that the party's momentum has stalled, which could have implications for Prime Minister's party as they head into future political challenges. Following the leading trio are the Social Democratic Party with 13.9%, EKRE with 12.8%, the Pro Patria party at 6%, and Estonia 200 at 1.8%. The data reflects the polling period from January 12 to February 7, where over 4,000 eligible voters in Estonia were surveyed.

The coalition parties currently hold a combined support of 16.5%, in stark contrast to the 73.9% support for opposition parties among respondents. This highlights a significant divide in voter sentiment, potentially challenging the governing coalition as they navigate the political landscape ahead. The polling results underscore the shifting dynamics within Estonia's political environment and may influence future election strategies for the parties involved.
