In a tragic incident in Shri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, early this morning, woman police station chief Jyoti Nayak lost her life after her police jeep was violently struck by a car. The accident occurred on Pyal Theatre Road near Durga Mandir, between 4 and 5 a.m. Nayak was on patrol duty at the time, and an eyewitness, who was a police officer, reported that a car coming from the direction of Pyal Theatre collided with their vehicle from the side. The impact of the collision was so severe that Nayak's jeep overturned, trapping her underneath. Despite immediate responses from fellow officers and bystanders, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene, highlighting the tragic consequences of road accidents.
