inDrive ranks second among most downloaded ride-hailing app

inDrive has been ranked the world's second-most-downloaded ride-hailing app for four consecutive years, according to Sensor Tower.

inDrive, a global mobility platform operating in 48 countries, has achieved recognition as the world's second-most-downloaded ride-hailing app for the fourth consecutive year, as reported by market intelligence firm Sensor Tower. This ranking highlights the growing popularity and user engagement with the app, which has transitioned toward a super app model to expand its services beyond traditional ride-hailing.

Since its inception, the inDrive app has been downloaded over 400 million times globally and is currently available in 1,065 cities. Its unique peer-to-peer pricing model differentiates it from competitors by allowing drivers and riders to negotiate fares directly. This approach has led to a significant volume of transactions, surpassing 8 billion, and contributed to its strong presence in the market.

InDrive's performance has been particularly impressive in the travel app category, where it now ranks fourth globally for downloads, up from fifth in 2023. It has secured the top position in nine countries for travel app downloads, including emerging markets like Peru and Pakistan, and is among the top three most-downloaded travel apps in 22 countries. Looking ahead to 2025, inDrive is accelerating its expansion beyond ride-hailing services to further enhance its platform and user experience.
