The incident took place during a raid in Minnesota on January 8, where Castaneda was placed in handcuffs. As he made an effort to escape, he ran toward a main highway but fell, hitting his head on a concrete wall. DHS clarified that the injuries were a result of this fall rather than any physical altercation with the officers, countering claims made by Castaneda regarding mistreatment.
