Scandal in WOT. Known officer under serious charges
A well-known officer in the Polish Territorial Defense Forces faces serious allegations after his proposal for horse training collaboration was met with scrutiny.
Zbigniew K.-G., a prominent figure in Silesia, is increasingly under fire as serious allegations emerge regarding his conduct within the Territorial Defense Forces (WOT). Known for running a security agency and a horse stud, K.-G. also led the 3rd Uhlan Squadron and served in the 13th Silesian Brigade of Territorial Defense since 2022. He started as a private during weekend training sessions, quickly advancing in rank, particularly after developing a close relationship with Colonel PaweÅ PiÄ tkowski, the brigade commander.
The issue began when K.-G. proposed a collaboration with the brigade to utilize his horse stud for training soldiers, a venture that received initial support and aspirations for a more significant partnership. His performance and connections led to a plan for his progression into full-time service. However, this ambition was ultimately sidelined due to ongoing investigations into an incident during a Hubertus event in October 2025, which has cast a shadow over his standing and allegations are being scrutinized closely by authorities.
As the investigation unfolds, the implications for K.-G. and the brigade may be profound, potentially affecting military operations and public trust in the Territorial Defense Forces. The outcomes could redefine relationships within the unit and raise questions about the oversight of personnel in the armed forces, especially in terms of accountability and transparency, emphasizing the need for rigorous ethics in military leadership.
