Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, has made a commitment to complete the Port Harcourt Ring Road project, which spans over 50 kilometers, by October this year. This project, already underway across five local government areas, is expected to significantly alleviate traffic congestion in Port Harcourt and surrounding communities. Fubara's comments were made following an inspection of the project's progress, highlighting his administration's focus on infrastructure development as a priority.

The Governor referred to his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, expressing that the successful completion of the road would lead to significant gratitude from the citizens of Rivers State. Fubara emphasized the importance of the project in enhancing transportation efficiency in the region, which has faced growing traffic challenges.
