The individual ended up partially submerged in the water, with his upper body on the ice and legs in the water. Fortunately, firefighters were able to reach him and the dog, successfully pulling both to safety.
Following the rescue, a spokesperson reported that the man was transported to the hospital and the dog to a veterinarian, both suffering from hypothermia due to the cold conditions.
