mBank CEO Cezary Kocik announced record profits and a strong growth strategy at the bank's 2025 results presentation.

During a presentation highlighting mBank's financial achievements for the year 2025, CEO Cezary Kocik announced that the bank has reported a remarkable net profit of 3.54 billion PLN, an increase from the previous year's profit of 2.24 billion PLN. This substantial growth places mBank in a strong position within the banking sector, illustrating the effectiveness of their newly implemented growth strategy dubbed 'Full Ahead'. Kocik expressed pride in the bank's performance across all key operational areas, emphasizing their commitment to this upward trajectory.

The impressive results are indicative of mBank's ability to overcome challenges, including those related to mortgage loans denominated in Swiss francs, which have posed difficulties for many banks in Poland. By addressing these issues proactively, mBank has managed to maintain a robust financial health, achieving a return on equity (ROE) of 20.8%, which is close to their strategic goal of 22%. Such efficiency not only showcases the bank's operational excellence but also lays a solid groundwork for future profitability.

Looking forward to 2026, mBank's prospects appear optimistic as they continue to build on their successful growth strategies while navigating the evolving economic landscape. Their ability to adapt to challenges while maximizing opportunities positions them favorably in the competitive banking market. The bank's leadership, along with its forward-thinking strategy, reflects a confidence in sustaining this record-breaking growth and enhancing stakeholder value in the coming years.
