A gang assaults four Carglass workshops during the past dawn in several municipalities of Madrid
A gang has been reported to have consecutively assaulted four Carglass workshops across various municipalities in Madrid during the early hours of Sunday.
The National Police in Spain is investigating a series of thefts involving a group of criminals who executed consecutive robberies at four Carglass workshops throughout the Community of Madrid during the early hours of Sunday. The incidents occurred within a brief timeframe of just two and a half hours, impacting locations in Alcalá de Henares, Coslada, Alcobendas, and Parla. The police noted that the first theft was reported at 11:50 PM on Saturday, marking the beginning of a rapid series of assaults.
In the initial attack, the perpetrators gained entry to the workshop in Alcalá de Henares by forcing open the access point. Shortly afterward, they moved to Coslada to carry out a similar operation, again breaking locks and ransacking the premises. The criminals continued their spree at approximately 12:20 AM, targeting another Carglass location in Alcobendas. Investigators believe that the gang utilized the M-40 highway to navigate from the eastern part of the city to the north, facilitating their swift movement between multiple sites.
The final burglary occurred at 2:20 AM in Parla, where the modus operandi mirrored that of the prior incidents, indicating a well-planned operation. As the police delve deeper into the investigations, they are likely to examine CCTV footage and other leads to identify the suspects involved in these coordinated heists that highlight not only a security breach but also a challenge for local law enforcement in maintaining safety and order in the region.
