"Regitra" announces new license plate series: representatives of these names should take notice

Lithuania's vehicle registration authority, Regitra, is launching new license plate series starting with the letter 'O', which are expected to attract interest from owners of specific names.

The Lithuanian vehicle registration authority, Regitra, has announced the introduction of new license plate series that will begin with the letter 'O' this summer. This marks the first series change since the letter 'N' was released in 2023. Regitra releases new license plate series every quarter in alphabetical order, and these new combinations will allow for almost 60,000 unique options, enhancing license plates beyond mere identification to more personal or playful symbols.

According to Jolanta Laurinavičienė, the head of commercial service development at Regitra, license plates often reflect personal names, and individuals with names such as Aistė (AIS), Aiva (AIV), or Ainas (AIN) should particularly take note of this new series. This presents an excellent opportunity for drivers to personalize their vehicles with a license plate that stands out, reflecting their identity. As such, these specific combinations are likely to be in high demand.

Laurinavičienė also highlighted that many of the most popular combinations are usually reserved within the first hours of their release, leading to excitement among customers to secure a unique identifier for their vehicles. This initiative indicates not only the growing trend of personalized license plates in Lithuania but also Regitra's efforts to cater to customer preferences in vehicle registration services.
