The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA S.A.) recently hosted the 5th meeting of the European TREASURE project under the leadership of Han Chao. This meeting centered on the discussion of innovative environmental restoration practices and presented initial results from pilot actions being conducted in various European ports. It aimed to foster collaboration among stakeholders in the sector and share knowledge about sustainability initiatives. Additionally, the workshop featured a presentation of the GreenLife4Seas (LIFE) project, which emphasizes the sustainable utilization of sediments and shells, aligning with goals for a circular blue economy.
