Vilnius police seek assistance: man suspected of restaurant theft sought
The Vilnius police are asking for public assistance in identifying a man suspected of stealing cash and champagne from a local restaurant.
On February 7 of this year, around 2:05 AM, an unidentified individual broke into a restaurant located on L. Stuokos-Gucevičius Street in Vilnius, stealing approximately 200 euros in cash from the cash register and around 10 bottles of champagne. The total estimated damage caused to the company is around 1,700 euros.
The police are appealing to the public for help, requesting that anyone who recognizes the man captured on surveillance cameras or has pertinent information about the case contact Daiva Žilinskytė, a detective with the Vilnius City Police Department.
