The best Lithuanian football players have been chosen: G. Gineitis received three awards

G. Gineitis, a midfielder for Torino, won multiple awards at the Lithuanian Football Federation ceremony, including the best player title, while Rimantė Jonušaitė was named the best female player.

At the recent Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) awards ceremony, G. Gineitis, a midfielder playing for Torino in Italy, was honored with three prestigious awards. These included the title of the best player in Lithuania, recognition for scoring the most beautiful goal, and the best young player award. Though unable to attend the ceremony in person, Gineitis expressed his gratitude through a video message, thanking those who voted for him and acknowledging the support from his coaches, club, family, and girlfriend. He pledged to continue working hard to promote Lithuanian football.

Rimantė Jonušaitė, also from Mažeikiai, was awarded the title of the best female player, marking her second consecutive win in this category. Additionally, Justina Blaževičiūtė was recognized as the best young female player. The coaching accolades were rounded out with Eivinas Černiauskas being named the best coach for leading Kauno Žalgiris to the A Lyga title, while the best female coach award went to a yet unnamed individual.
