Pilot suspected of sexual exploitation made it clear that he 'liked children', says delegate
A pilot arrested for being a leader in a child and adolescent sexual exploitation network allegedly conveyed his preference for young children and coerced victims' families into complicity.
The pilot arrested on September 9 during a police operation in São Paulo is being pointed to as a key figure in a significant network involved in the sexual exploitation of minors. According to Delegate Ivalda Aleixo from the Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons (DHPP), the suspect would manipulate mothers and grandmothers of the victims to procure compromising photos and videos of the children. The suspect reportedly stated during encounters, “I like children,” which underscores the predatory nature of his actions. To incentivize cooperation, the pilot provided small sums of money alongside paying for essential expenses such as medication, rent, and even televisions, thereby grooming the families for his exploitative schemes.
