Alcione, Jorge Aragão, and Zeca Pagodinho announce joint tour for this year
Brazilian samba legends Alcione, Jorge Aragão, and Zeca Pagodinho have announced a collaborative tour titled "The Greatest Samba Meeting," set to kick off in June 2026.
Alcione, Jorge Aragão, and Zeca Pagodinho, three iconic figures in Brazilian samba, have launched a joint tour called "O Maior Encontro do Samba" (The Greatest Samba Meeting). This highly anticipated event will celebrate their extensive catalogs and will visit major cities across Brazil starting from June 6, 2026, at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro. The tour promises to bring the rich sounds of samba to fans nationwide.
Following the Rio de Janeiro debut, the tour will continue to six other cities: São Paulo, Brasília, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, and Salvador. Special guest appearances by other renowned artists such as Martinho da Vila, Seu Jorge, Péricles, and Alexandre Pires are also planned for select performances. Before the main acts, attendees will enjoy an opening show by Arlindinho, who will honor his father, the legendary sambista Arlindo Cruz, by performing his songs, thus paying tribute to samba's deep-rooted heritage.
Tickets for "The Greatest Samba Meeting" are now available through Eventim, with prices ranging from R$ 87.50 for upper seating (half price) to R$ 1,090 for a VIP package (full price). Additionally, there is a pre-sale option for Itaú customers, making this a sought-after event for samba enthusiasts and a significant moment in the Brazilian music scene as it highlights the enduring popularity of samba culture and its star artists.
