Swiss ski freestyler Mathilde Gremaud has again taken the gold medal in the slopestyle competition from Chinese athlete Eileen Gu.

Swiss ski freestyler Mathilde Gremaud claimed victory over Chinese star Eileen Gu in the slopestyle competition held in Livigno, continuing her winning streak against the Olympic champion and current world champion. The competition saw a narrow margin, with Gremaud finishing just 0.38 points ahead of Gu, mirroring their previous face-off in Beijing where Gremaud secured gold by a mere 0.33 points. Canadian Megan Oldham took bronze, trailing behind by a significant 10.50 points.

In the final rounds, Gu initially led the competition with a score of 86.58 points in her first run, establishing a strong position. However, Gremaud countered in the second run with an impressive 86.96 points, showcasing her competitive edge. Gu risked everything in her third run but unfortunately fell at the first obstacle, thus sealing Gremaud’s victory in a highly competitive event. With this win, Gremaud has not only demonstrated her skills but also reinforced her position as a top competitor in the freestyle skiing scene.
