Procon Manaus has launched its first outreach initiative of 2026, taking place from March 9 to 11 in the indigenous community center located in Parque das Tribos. This initiative allows consumers to receive assistance in resolving consumer-related issues, such as inquiries about services and products, filing complaints, and reporting violations. It operates from 8 AM to 12 PM each day, allowing local residents to take advantage of these services conveniently.

Participating utilities, including Amazonas Energia and Águas de Manaus, will provide various services during this event. These services encompass debt negotiations, requests for new connections, changes in account ownership, consumption verification, and enrollment in social tariff programs. Consumers can benefit significantly from individual assessments, where discounts on outstanding debts can reach up to 80%, making it an invaluable opportunity for those struggling with financial obligations.

Additionally, the event will feature the Instituto de Estudos de Protesto de Títulos do Brasil – Seção Amazonas (IEPTB-AM), which will offer free consultations regarding CPF and CNPJ protests and issue payment slips for outstanding debts. This outreach is designed to support vulnerable communities in managing their financial situations while also ensuring they have access to essential utility services efficiently and equitably.
