Terrorist Abdul Rahman Killed in Jail, Attack with Sharp Object on Head
Abdul Rahman, a terrorist imprisoned in Faridabad's Neemka Jail, was killed after being attacked on the head with a sharp object.
Abdul Rahman, a 20-year-old terrorist, was murdered in Neemka Jail in Faridabad, reportedly by fellow inmate Arun Chaudhary, who was recently transferred there from Jammu and Kashmir. The attack occurred late at night, with information suggesting that Rahman was struck on the head with a sharp object. Following the incident, police transported his body to a civil hospital for postmortem while launching an investigation into the matter.
Rahman was apprehended on March 2, 2025, near Pali village with two hand grenades in his possession. Authorities claimed he was plotting to create chaos in Ayodhya. The arrest was executed jointly by Gujarat's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Haryana's Special Task Force (STF) with assistance from central intelligence. In addition to the grenades, Rahman's possession of videos containing information related to the Ram Temple had raised significant concerns.
The incident raises serious questions about safety and security within Indian jails, especially concerning high-profile terrorists. The quick and brutal nature of his murder highlights potential lapses in prison management and the handling of inmates with extremist backgrounds. Given the sensitive context related to Abdul Rahman's arrest and his connections to terrorism, this incident may attract broader scrutiny and demands for reform in the prison system.
