New tourist voucher in Warmia and Masuria. 2 million zlotys for accommodation subsidies

The Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship authorities have launched the 'Spring in Warmia and Masuria' program, continuing the tourist voucher scheme to boost off-season tourism.

The Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship authorities have introduced a new initiative called "Spring in Warmia and Masuria," aimed at continuing the tourism boost initiated with the previous autumn tourist voucher program. This program offers discounts on accommodation to promote tourism in the region, particularly during the off-season. Last autumn, approximately 3,500 people benefitted from the prior program, reflecting its success and the interest in such incentives among both locals and tourists.

Marcin Kuchciński, the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, emphasized that the primary goal of these initiatives is to stimulate tourism outside of the traditional peak season. The initial results of the autumn program showed promising growth in tourism, motivating local authorities to extend similar opportunities into the early spring. Kuchciński expressed optimism that the new vouchers would attract significant interest from both residents and visitors from outside the region.

The new program unfolds in two stages: the first phase allows accommodation providers to register from today until February 20, and the second phase, set for February 23-27, invites tourists to apply for the vouchers. To participate, users must create an account on the program's website, bonwarmiamazury.pl, thereby facilitating the process for obtaining discounts for their stay in this picturesque region of Poland.
