In Ukerewe District, Mwanza Region, Tanzania, a significant health initiative is underway targeting over 81,000 children aged between 5 and 14 years. This campaign focuses on preventive treatment against intestinal worms and schistosomiasis, which pose serious health risks to children. The treatment campaign is planned to span two days and will encompass all 140 pre-primary and primary schools in the district.
