A woman was apprehended in the Pinheiro neighborhood of Maceió on Sunday after a series of incidents involving threats and violent behavior towards law enforcement. The police were called to the area following reports of the woman threatening a couple, prompting officers to investigate the situation. Upon arrival, they were informed by the couple about the threats made against them by the woman.

As the police attempted to identify the woman, she attempted to flee, which escalated the situation. The officers, aware of her earlier threats, managed to apprehend her, but during the process, she verbally abused the officers and physically assaulted one by kicking him in the face. This behavior not only illustrated her resistance to the arrest but also raised concerns about the safety of the officers involved in handling such volatile situations.

Following her arrest, the woman was taken to the Central de Flagrantes in Tabuleiro dos Martins, where she was formally charged with offenses including contempt of court and resisting arrest.
