Arcane Wines, Cagnetti opens the archive of a lifetime of labels
Fabio Cagnetti has opened Arcane Wines, a unique wine bar showcasing his personal collection of over 4,000 bottles, emphasizing accessibility and shared experiences.
Arcane Wines is an innovative wine bar located in the Solari area of Milan, Italy, created by collector Fabio Cagnetti. This establishment offers patrons a chance to explore Cagnetti's extensive personal archive of wine bottles, representing his travels and personal discoveries in the wine world. Cagnetti believes that wine should be an experience to be shared rather than a luxury reserved for a select few, positioning his wine collection as a living heritage rather than merely a drinkable museum.
The wine selection features around 1,700 different labels, predominantly from Italy and France, with a special focus on German Rieslings, which comprise over 300 different options. Additionally, Arcane Wines has plans to innovate further by introducing Japanese wines to their offerings starting next spring. The wine bar's unique selling proposition includes a rotating selection of 13 wines served on tap, which changes weekly, ensuring that patrons enjoy diverse options throughout the year.
Cagnetti's vision for Arcane Wines extends beyond mere sales; he aims to foster a sense of community among wine lovers and encourage curiosity about wines from various regions. By making wines accessible and hosting a range of options for consumers, he hopes to elevate the experience of enjoying wine, inviting everyone to engage with his collection and contribute to the evolving narrative of wine appreciation.
