A tragic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon (February 8) in Proussos, Evrytania, when a 59-year-old driver lost his life after his car veered off the road and fell into a 300-meter gorge. The incident took place near a bend on the road towards Tornos, almost directly opposite the Monastery of Prousos. Emergency services arrived on the scene, where the driver was found unconscious and subsequently recovered by rescuers.
