During his visit to the Dolores sports court, he emphasized the importance of state and municipal collaboration in establishing safer neighborhoods through community engagement. The program specifically targets issues such as domestic violence, organized crime, theft, and assaults, while promoting activities that foster social cohesion.
Governor Jara Cruz met with representatives from the community committees known as Vecinas y Vecinos por la Paz, where he expressed the need for better coordination among local groups to effectively combat rising crime rates. This initiative reveals the government's strategy to involve the community in creating a safer urban environment, encouraging citizens to participate actively in combating violence through cultural and sports events. The governor's visit illustrates a hands-on approach by state officials in addressing public safety concerns.
Additionally, the governor announced plans for the implementation of the Senderos Seguros initiative in collaboration with the Secretary of Well-Being, Tequio, and Inclusion.
