In a heartbreaking incident reported from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, a speeding car hit a 10-year-old boy named Ritik, who became trapped on the car's hood. Despite this, the driver failed to stop and continued driving, dragging Ritik over a distance exceeding 500 meters until he finally fell off the hood. Unfortunately, it was too late, as he had already succumbed to his injuries. Surveillance footage captured the horrifying moment of the incident, which took place near the Amritpur temple on the Bareilly highway within the jurisdiction of the Basrehar police station.

The severity of the impact was such that the boy became wedged on the hood of the vehicle, illustrating the recklessness of the driver. After the car dragged him for a considerable distance, the child fell off when the car swerved but did not survive the ordeal. Following the incident, the driver fled the scene, leaving the boy's family in shock and grief.
