Bar in Vila Olímpia organizes rock shows during Carnival
Manifesto Bar in São Paulo will host a series of cover shows featuring traditional rock and metal bands from February 13 to 17 for Carnival.
The Manifesto Bar, located in Itaim Bibi, São Paulo, is set to host a week-long lineup of rock and metal cover shows during the Carnival season from February 13 to 17. Known for being one of the largest themed bars in São Paulo, the establishment recently relocated to Rua Ramos Batista, 207, in Vila Olímpia. Ticket prices start at R$ 40 and cover a diverse range of tribute bands performing music from iconic rock figures.
The series of performances, dubbed Carnarock, will feature a total of 12 tribute bands over the five days. The event kicks off on Friday the 13th with performances from Dehumanizer (covering Black Sabbath), Ghosts (covering Ghost), and Mr. Madman (covering Ozzy Osbourne). The subsequent days will see shows from various bands such as Cover Brasil, Blaymorphed, and tributes to notable acts like Faith No More and Pearl Jam, catering to a variety of rock tastes.
As the last event of the program, Monday will highlight hard rock music with tributes to Guns N' Roses and Motley Crue performed by Use Your Guns and Wild Side. The Carnarock festival aims to attract both rock enthusiasts and the Carnival crowd, showcasing São Paulo's vibrant music scene while celebrating the festive season with high-energy performances and familiar rock anthems.
