Lamborghini involved in multiple accidents, a Chinese man arrested for fleeing to go to the hospital

A 41-year-old Chinese man was arrested after fleeing from a multi-vehicle accident involving a Lamborghini that he drove at high speed, colliding with a police car and injuring officers.

On a snowy day in Tokyo, a 41-year-old Chinese man, Liu Jianglian, was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police after causing a multiple-vehicle accident while driving a Lamborghini at high speed. The incident occurred around 5:10 AM at Tsukiji Ohashi, where Liu’s vehicle first collided with a taxi before crashing into a police car that was responding to another accident. The impact resulted in serious injuries to two police officers, who sustained fractures, as well as injuries to Liu and a female passenger, complicating the overall situation amidst the treacherous weather conditions.

Eyewitness accounts detail how Liu’s Lamborghini, equipped with normal tires, lost control on the slippery road, triggering a chain reaction that involved eight vehicles. The female passenger, whom Liu had met earlier that day, also sustained injuries, adding to the chaos of the accident. Liu eventually confessed to the authorities that he fled the scene to seek medical treatment for his injuries, which included broken ribs. He reportedly left the scene on foot before later returning to the police station to surrender approximately 15 hours after the incident.

This incident raises concerns about road safety, particularly regarding high-performance vehicles driven recklessly in adverse weather conditions. It also illustrates the potential consequences of dangerous driving, not only for the driver and passenger but also for innocent bystanders and responders who can be severely impacted by such reckless behavior. The police investigation continues as they look into the full extent of the accident and the legal repercussions Liu may face, including violations related to dangerous driving resulting in injury.
