To manage the large crowd, the municipal government has increased the number of Municipal Guard agents and ambulances in the area. After past tumultuous events during the parade, Nunes mentioned that barriers closing off transversal streets were removed to allow for better pedestrian flow in the crowded area. The São Paulo Military Police also urged people to avoid the Consolação region during the afternoon due to the substantial influx of participants.
