A man was rescued by firefighters in Ceará after falling into a 15-meter deep well while attempting to save a chicken.
In a bizarre incident in the district of Mucambo, Guaraciaba do Norte, Brazil, a man fell into a 15-meter deep well while attempting to rescue a chicken that had fallen inside. The event took place on Saturday, drawing the attention of local firefighters who undertook a challenging rescue operation. Upon reaching the scene, the firefighters set up a tripod and roping equipment to ensure they could safely access the victim, given the confined and difficult access conditions of the well.
Once inside the well, a firefighter descended to provide initial medical assistance to the man. Reports indicated that although the individual was conscious and aware, he exhibited signs of multiple injuries, including suspected fractures in his left arm and right ankle, cuts on both knees, a potential lower back injury, and signs of hypothermia. The swift response by the firefighting team was crucial in addressing his medical needs.
After successfully hoisting the man back to the surface, firefighters conducted a further assessment of his health. Ultimately, he was handed over to the Mobile Emergency Care Service for appropriate medical treatment.
