A dramatic police chase occurred in Agios Dimitrios on Saturday night, leading to the arrest of a 17-year-old passenger. It began around 10:20 pm when officers from the Immediate Action police spotted a vehicle with two occupants that had been reported stolen days prior at the intersection of Vouliagmenis Avenue and Priamou Street. When officers signaled for the driver to stop, he fled the scene, prompting a pursuit that ultimately ended in a crash. During the chase, the driver lost control of the vehicle at Ioannou Metaxa Street, colliding with two parked motorcycles and then crashing into the front of an internet café. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. After the crash, both the driver and the passenger attempted to flee on foot, but officers apprehended the driver, who put up a strong resistance.
