In Lauro de Freitas, a town in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, Brazil, two armed suspects lost their lives and another was apprehended during a confrontation with military police on Saturday, October 7. According to the Military Police (PM), officers were conducting patrols when they encountered a group of armed men who opened fire upon noticing the police. In response, the officers returned fire, prompting the suspects to flee. During their escape, the suspects attempted to take refuge in a nearby house where they were ultimately shot.
