The accident took place near the intersection of General Paz and FernΓ‘ndez de la Cruz in Villa Riachuelo at around 7 AM. Emergency services reported that a total of seven people were hurt in the incident, including five men and two women. Among the women, one was a minor. The injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals, with the most severely injured being taken to Santojanni Hospital, along with three other men. The other two women were sent to Cecilia Grierson Hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, traffic on General Paz avenue was disrupted, as the area was cordoned off to allow for rescue and medical assistance. The vehicle that broke down was identified as a Ford Fiesta, occupied by four individuals, which underscores the chaos and danger that can arise from unexpected vehicle malfunctions on busy public roads.
